Peter S. Zielinski, PT, MTC

Peter graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1990 and earned his Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St Augustine. He has been practicing physical therapy for over 30 years. He is a lifelong learner in his field, and he and his team hold weekly rounds to improve their skills.

In January of 2000, Peter created a practice that combines effective listening and evaluation skills with highly skilled treatment techniques. The focus and goals of Zielinski Physical Therapy are to help patients improve faster, and stay better longer through personalized, hands-on treatment sessions. Peter is very proud to say that over 25 years later he and his team have built one of the strongest reputations in the area.

Despite massive reimbursement cuts by all insurance companies, Zielinski Physical Therapy and Associates, P.C. have remained true to the original foundation that the business was built upon emphasizing core values and principles such as integrity, respect, responsibility, concern for others, dependability and commitment. Peter is truly passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal outcomes. He also enjoys working alongside dedicated clinicians and support staff who share the same goals and dedication.

When he is not caring for his patients, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and their 4 children doing just about anything active together.

He enjoys treating all manners of orthopedic and sports related injuries and dysfunctions and seeing his patients return to the highest level of activity possible.

Andrew's wife, Dina, is a dedicated nurse and a fantastic mother to their 2 sons, Brendan and Sean. Andrew has enjoyed coaching rec league soccer and has been active with their local Boy Scout Troop. As a family, they enjoy skiing, traveling and spending time together at their family cabin in the Pocono mountains.

Debra Spross

Debra Spross, MS, PT, OCS, Cert MDT, CAPS

Debra Spross, MS, PT, OCS, Cert MDT, CAPS is a Physical Therapist with over 40 years of experience. These numerous initials represent advanced training and certifications as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a Certified McKenzie Practitioner, and as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. She is a graduate of Ithaca College (BS in PT) and Long Island University (MS in Exercise Physiology).

As a homeowner and the daughter of an architect, Debra has always enjoyed being a "handywoman". After her mother was able to age in place and peacefully pass in her own home, Debra decided to combine these interests with her years of experience in health care. She completed the Executive Certificate in Home Modifications Program (ECHMP) from the University of Southern California in addition to becoming a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders.

Debra has been a speaker in both community and corporate settings. She has been involved as a community volunteer with organizations such as the Connecticut Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bridgeport, and the Westport Country Playhouse.

Debra stays current in her field through continuing education to learn new techniques and approaches (such as Fascial Counterstrain and the Graston Technique), as well as skillfully applying "tried & true" therapeutic interventions. This is to help her clients achieve their goals for recovery from injury, illness, or surgery, for health and wellness, and now to achieve the goal of remaining at home while aging.

Debra enjoys the sense of community and the team approach at Zielinski Physical Therapy. Her desire to strive for excellent clinical outcomes matches well with the goals of the staff here.
